WMG Fellowship Program

One of the goals of our organization is to support young women from diverse backgrounds who are interested in a career in publishing. For the past three years, we have partnered the Publishing Certificate Program (PCP) at City College. Our members have served as mentors to over 30 PCP students and we have also given presentations at the school about various aspects of the publishing industry.

This summer, we are excited to announce that we are continuing to work with PCP and have created the WMG Fellowship. This prestigious award will be given on a semiannual basis to one or two young women at PCP who show exceptional promise and a strong commitment to working in media. Fellowship recipients will receive invitations to all WMG events, one-on-one mentoring from our membership, and a stipend to help cover living costs, among other benefits.
