A note from Susan on the theme: Why do we love adult and children’s nonfiction? Because we’re curious about everything! Maybe you want to know more about the most pressing topics of the day or understand the implications of AI. Or are you a fab fact-lover? (Just ask a kid about dinosaurs or sharks to find one of these.) Some of the best nonfiction books shine a light on individuals and events from the past and present, or they use illustrations or photos to invite us into other worlds, from animals, travels, cooking, and more. What’s hot, and what’s not, and what challenges face the nonfiction category today? Let’s talk about it over dinner.
Small Group Socials are networking events designed to encourage and facilitate meaningful connections among members. These gatherings are exclusively for WMG members and meet in small groups. This is a wonderful way to meet other WMG members who share common professional and personal interests and motivate one another.
